What is Lux Archive? We showcase photographs from talented artists around the globe. With the artist’s authority and supervision we reproduce and sell their images in limited editions as museum quality prints.
Do artists receive any of the proceeds? Yes! Artists receive a majority of the proceeds from each print sale when you buy from Lux Archive.
How do I know these prints are authentic? Each print is accompanied by an artist signed certificate of authenticity.
How are your prints made? Images are professionally printed using methods and materials utilized by galleries and museums worldwide. We print on a coveted stock of fiber paper with a satin finish (satin is similar to a very mild gloss). It’s a sophisticated material that offers beautiful definition, excellent tonal range and, to put it simply, looks absolutely stunning. Our paper and inks are archival and will last for well over 100 years when cared for properly.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
How can I be sure your website is secure for credit card payments? We have a highly secure website with 256-bit encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is industry standard for protecting customer information and is guaranteed secure by GeoTrust, a leader in Internet security.

How do I frame my prints? Currently we do not offer a framing service. For recommendations about getting your print framed be sure to visit our Blog. There you'll find tons of great tips for framing your art and incoporating it into the overall design of your space.
Images are produced in fixed quantities for each available size. When the edition sells out it will never be reproduced again.
Will my print look exactly how it looks on the website? The image you see on your monitor may vary from the printed image. Monitors have different color and brightness settings and we although we can’t control how your monitor is calibrated we think you’ll be very happy with your purchase. Our prints are carefully produced under the supervision of our artists and great care is taken to ensure proper color fidelity and image quality.
How do I care for my print? Keep your print out of direct sunlight and away from extreme humidity and temperatures. The surface of your print is delicate; handle it carefully to avoid scratches and damage. Get your print framed or mounted.
Are Artist Proofs created with each limited edition? Yes. On average two Artist Proofs, or APs, are produced outside of each limited edition. APs are typically kept by the artist or Lux Archive.
Who owns the copyright to these images? The artist always retains the copyright to his/her image. Buying a print does NOT result in a transfer of copyright.

Do you only represent photographic images? We’re experts in photography and currently we only showcase photographic works.
Why can’t I buy more then five of the same print? We want to ensure that every collector has a chance to participate. If you would like to purchase a large number of prints for gifting or other non-resale purposes please contact us at support@luxarchive.com
Do your prints have borders? Yes, each image has at least a ¼” border to allow for framing. We try to offer standard paper sizes to make it easy for our customers to frame their prints. We maximize the image size on each offered paper size to allow the photograph to be as large as possible and still allow room for framing.
Will I be charged tax on my order? Only residents of New York State or orders being shipped to New York State will be charged sales tax.
Can I see the print in person before I buy? We currently do not have a retail store but if for any reason you’re not pleased with your order you may return it hassle free! See our Return Policy.
