With the ebb and ­flow of the seasons, the feeling of being in the forest changes before our eyes.  Winter arrives, and structure dominates our senses; Spring approaches, and the leaves soften our perspective.  The Summer feels so harsh, then seems to fade too quickly, bringing forth the colors of Fall. But the essence remains constant. Trees in the forest are the connection between the Earth and the Sky.
