Intersections is the second project regarding my personal research about the ocean.

The inspiration for this series began by thinking about a famous Italian poem  "L'infinito", written by Giacomo Leopardi. As soon as I started reflecting upon the poem, my attention shifted unavoidably towards the sheer energy and immense power released by a stormy ocean when it  encounters a solid obstacle like, in many cases, a rock.

In essence, " Intersections" is all about that brief moment of time when the water of the sea blurs with the clouds of a stormy sky and creates a unique and abstract fleeting moment. When the fury of the ocean seems to take a breath before inexorably and inevitably starting again with the next wave.
